I am so impressed with Jaime Oliver and this speech that I wanted to help get it out to as many people as possible.
As an athlete I find it relatively easy to eat well. I also look at food as fuel- so I’m really particular about what I put in my mouth. It kills me to see people struggling with food choices when it shouldn’t be so hard. There is so much conflicting information out there, from companies with vested interests. I think it’s truly a sad, state of affairs, and am so so glad that Jaime Oliver is out there helping the cause.

Thanks for this video. I recently watched Food Inc, and read In Defense of Food. We’ve made some significant changes, and look forward to planting a garden this year.
I don’t know if I told you, I have been working with a surgical weight loss program. Obesity has been ‘front and center’ lately. It’s been a good reminder about how our daily choices affect our own persons, but also the environment. I was shocked to see the mega corporations and their production of grains and meat…yikes.

front and centre for us too- watched a doco the other night on UK school kids… scary.
We’ve also changed diets a few weeks ago too- we’ll have to swap ideas!
